Project Overview
We're looking for US-based individuals to participate in a paid AI research project involving data from commonly used mobile and web applications.
Participants will contribute data from 6–8 applications they actively use, such as Gmail, Google Calendar, Google Drive, YouTube, LinkedIn, PayPal, and other eligible apps.
The goal is to collect authentic, real-world application usage data to support AI research and development.
This is a one-time, remote opportunity. No technical background or previous experience is required.
What You'll Do
- Select 6–8 qualifying applications that you actively use.
- Download your existing account data using each application's built-in data export feature.
- Upload your exported data through the project's designated platform, PeakTalent.
- Follow the platform's guided data submission, redaction, and quality review process.
- Complete any necessary corrections or resubmissions to meet project requirements.
- Submit your completed dataset within the project timeline.
Step-by-step instructions and application-specific export guides will be provided.
Eligible Applications
Participants must submit data from a minimum of 6 and a maximum of 8 eligible applications across the following categories:
- Email (Mandatory – Exactly 1): Gmail, Outlook Mail
- Productivity: Google Drive, Google Sheets, Google Tasks
- Communication: Google Calendar, Google Contacts, Outlook Calendar, Apple Calendar
- Social Media: LinkedIn, YouTube, X (Twitter), Pinterest, Discord, Telegram
- Music & Audio: YouTube Music
- Finance: PayPal, Venmo, Cash App, Google Wallet/Google Pay, Wise
- Health & Fitness: Apple Health, Fitbit, Strava, Samsung Health
- Travel & Retail: DoorDash
Application Category Requirements
- Exactly 1 email application is mandatory.
- A maximum of 1 application may come from either Finance or Health & Fitness (not both).
- Up to 2 applications may be submitted from each remaining category.
- All submitted applications must contain authentic data from accounts you actively use.
Who We're Looking For
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Must currently reside in the United States.
- Must actively use at least 6 applications from the approved list.
- Should have established account history and regular activity across selected applications (approximately 1 year preferred, although shorter periods of frequent activity may qualify).
- Must be able to download data exports from their own application accounts.
- Must be comfortable securely submitting personal application data through the designated platform for AI research.
- Must be available to complete the submission process within the project timeline.
No professional experience, technical skills, or previous AI research experience is required.
Compensation
Participants will receive a one-time payment based on the number of qualifying applications successfully submitted and approved:
- 6 approved applications: $350 USD
- 7 approved applications: $400 USD
- 8 approved applications: $450 USD
Payment is issued only after the complete submission receives Final Approval.
All applications included in the submission must meet the project's eligibility and quality requirements. Incomplete, duplicate, or rejected submissions are not eligible for payment.
Data Privacy & Submission Process
- All application data is submitted directly through PeakTalent, the project's designated platform.
- Uploaded data undergoes automated personally identifiable information (PII) redaction and quality checks.
- Contributors will receive instructions outlining the submission process, data handling, and consent requirements.
- No account passwords, login credentials, or direct account access are required.
- Contributors should only submit data from accounts they own and information they are authorized to share.
Project Timeline
This is a short-term project with a current submission deadline of October 16, 2026.
Participants are encouraged to apply and begin the submission process as soon as possible to allow sufficient time for data exports, uploads, and any necessary corrections.
