About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior UX/Product Designer to lead the design and evolution of internal enterprise applications built around Salesforce Sales Cloud.

This individual will serve as the primary UX/Product Designer supporting the initiative, working closely with business stakeholders, technology partners, and the Salesforce team to understand user needs, simplify complex workflows, and deliver intuitive, scalable user experiences.

The ideal candidate combines strong interaction design and systems thinking with hands-on experience designing complex, data-heavy enterprise applications. This role requires someone comfortable working independently, navigating ambiguity, and owning the end-to-end design process.

The project may involve both traditional Salesforce Lightning experiences and headless Salesforce implementations leveraging an established enterprise design system, particularly for mobile applications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own the end-to-end UX and product design process for Salesforce Sales Cloud initiatives, serving as the primary designer on the project.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders, product owners, developers, and Salesforce teams to translate business requirements into intuitive user experiences.
  • Design and optimize complex, workflow-driven and data-intensive enterprise applications for multiple internal user groups.
  • Create user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs using Figma.
  • Design responsive and mobile-first experiences that support users across devices.
  • Apply and extend established enterprise design systems to ensure consistency, usability, and scalability.
  • Design experiences within Salesforce Lightning Design System (SLDS) and potentially headless Salesforce environments.
  • Develop clear information architecture and interaction patterns that simplify complex business processes.
  • Independently manage design priorities, navigate evolving requirements, and make informed design decisions.
  • Partner closely with engineering teams to ensure successful implementation and design quality.

Required Qualifications

  • Senior-level experience in UX/Product Design, with demonstrated ownership of complex digital products.
  • Strong background designing enterprise applications, particularly workflow-heavy, data-intensive internal tools or platforms.
  • Advanced interaction design, information architecture, and systems-thinking capabilities.
  • Proven experience working with established design systems and applying reusable components and interaction patterns.
  • Strong responsive and mobile product design experience.
  • Advanced proficiency in Figma, including prototyping, components, and design system workflows.
  • Ability to operate independently as the sole or primary designer on a project.
  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional business and technical stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to navigate ambiguity and evolving requirements.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Hands-on UX/Product Design experience with Salesforce Sales Cloud or other Salesforce enterprise applications.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce Lightning Design System (SLDS) and its design patterns and constraints.
  • Experience designing for headless Salesforce implementations or custom front-end applications powered by Salesforce.
  • Experience adapting or integrating enterprise design systems into Salesforce-powered experiences.
  • Background designing enterprise mobile applications for sales teams, field users, or other internal business functions.
  • Experience working in large, complex enterprise environments with multiple stakeholder groups.

What Success Looks Like

The successful candidate will be able to independently lead design efforts, quickly understand complex enterprise workflows, and deliver thoughtful, scalable solutions that improve usability and efficiency for internal users.

They should be equally comfortable working within the constraints of Salesforce Lightning and designing more flexible, custom experiences using an enterprise design system.

Above all, we are looking for a strong senior-level product designer who can simplify complexity, drive design decisions independently, and deliver exceptional enterprise user experiences.
