About the role

The client is landing its first top-tier health & life sciences account, and this role will lead the technical delivery of the engagement from discovery through production rollout.

You will work directly with client business, analytics, IT, and operational teams to identify high-value AI use cases, translate them into executable plans, and build solutions that work in the client’s environment. The deliverable is not simply a recommendation or executive presentation—it is a working system, integrated into real workflows, adopted by users, and ready for ongoing ownership.

This role sits at the intersection of technical program leadership, client delivery, and hands-on engineering. You will own the full delivery plan: defining the problem, shaping the solution, coordinating the right teams, making implementation tradeoffs, writing code where needed, and driving the product into production.

You will partner closely with a product manager who owns the product roadmap and platform direction. You own the client implementation and delivery outcomes, ensuring the client experiences one coordinated team.

This is an early role in building the client's Health & Life Sciences vertical. The work you deliver for the first marquee client will become the foundation for a repeatable implementation model for future regulated-industry customers.

What you’ll own

• Lead technical delivery of the engagement from discovery and solution design through implementation, launch, and handoff.
• Translate ambiguous client needs into clear technical requirements, delivery milestones, system designs, and measurable outcomes.
• Work directly with client business, analytics, IT, security, and operations teams to understand existing systems, workflows, data, and constraints.
• Determine how the client's technology platform should integrate with the client’s environment, including APIs, data sources, identity and access patterns, workflow tools, and downstream systems.
• Build and ship working solutions yourself, including prototypes, integrations, automations, evaluation workflows, and production code.
• Create the delivery plan and manage dependencies across internal and client teams, maintaining momentum when requirements, ownership, or data are incomplete.
• Drive solutions through testing, iteration, deployment, user adoption, documentation, and operational handoff.
• Establish practical standards for reliability, observability, evaluation, security, and change management appropriate for a regulated enterprise environment.
• Partner with the product manager to distinguish client-specific implementation work from reusable product capabilities and shape feedback into the roadmap.
• Communicate technical decisions, risks, tradeoffs, and progress clearly to both technical and executive stakeholders.
• Turn the first engagement into a repeatable delivery playbook for additional Health & Life Sciences customers.

What you’ll bring

• Strong client management skills across business, analytics, IT, and executive stakeholders.
• Comfort operating in environments where requirements evolve, dependencies are unclear, and you must create structure without waiting for perfect information.
• Clear, concise communication. You can explain architecture, implementation risk, and tradeoffs to technical teams and business leaders alike.
• A bias toward ownership: when something needs to be figured out, built, tested, or unblocked, you take responsibility for moving it forward.
• Experience working with frontier AI tools and a point of view on how to use them effectively in real-world delivery.
• An advanced degree in engineering, computer science, statistics, economics, or a relevant discipline.

Healthcare experience is valuable but not required. Experience in regulated industry is helpful because you’ll work with teams that care deeply about security, compliance, validation, review processes, and operational control.

Nice to haves

• Experience as a Quantitative pro, Forward Deployed Engineer, Solutions Architect, Technical Program Manager, Implementation Lead, Technical Consultant, Project Leader, or similar role.
• Experience deploying generative AI, analytics, automation, or data products into enterprise environments.
• Hands-on technical ability. You are comfortable writing code, working with APIs and data, debugging integrations, and using modern AI development tools to move quickly from idea to production.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms, APIs, SQL, Python or JavaScript, data pipelines, evaluation frameworks, and modern application deployment practices.
• Experience integrating with enterprise systems and working through security, procurement, privacy, or IT review processes.
