Haitian Creole Music Expert

Mercor is hiring music experts for a frontier generative-music AI lab, working in Haitian Creole.

We're looking for someone with formal musical training or professional experience — a degree in music, or a few years working as a musician, composer, transcriber, engineer, or teacher. You should have a strong ear: the hardest part of the work is transcribing a melody by ear with relatively accurate pitch and rhythm, and recognizing key, tempo, and time signature.

For Haitian Creole, you also need strong fluency so you can accurately handle sung lyrics — including accents and less-clear delivery.

This is a pilot at 2–5 hrs/week, but it is very likely to expand, and high performers will be prioritized for the larger phases.
