About Huckleberry Signals

Huckleberry Signals is an AI-powered data intelligence platform built for grower-packer-shippers in the fresh produce industry. Our customers are drowning in data and starving for answers. We help them move from gut-feel, reactive decisions to predictive, data-driven operations.

We are early, growing, and signing enterprise customers. This is a founding seat. You will shape how we keep customers happy and how they grow with us.

The Role

You own the customer relationship after the deal is signed. That means onboarding new accounts, making sure they get real value from the platform, and turning happy customers into long-term partners.

You work side by side with the CEO and the product and engineering team, with direct access to the people who build the platform and close the deals. As a founding hire, your voice carries weight in how we shape the customer experience.

What You'll Do

- Own post-signature customer relationships from kickoff through renewal

- Lead customer onboarding and make sure each account hits its success criteria

- Build trusted relationships with customer stakeholders, from analysts to the C-suite

- Track account health, spot risk early, and drive retention

- Find and grow expansion opportunities inside existing accounts

- Run regular check-ins and business reviews that show measurable value

- Bring customer feedback back to the product team to shape the roadmap

- Keep CRM records clean and current

Who You Are

- You have 2 or more years in account management, customer success, or a similar customer-facing role

- You are tech-savvy and comfortable with LLM tools and data tools, and you can explain insights in plain language

- You have worked with common productivity and project tools like Google Workspace, Slack, and Linear

- Familiarity with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) is a plus

- You are organized, self-directed, and steady at a startup pace

- You are genuinely curious about fresh produce and eager to learn how growers, packers, and shippers work. Direct produce or perishables industry experience is strongly preferred but not required if you can show you'll ramp fast.

- Spanish is strongly preferred but not required, since we are building grower relationships across Latin America. If you are not bilingual, tell us how you plan to work effectively with Spanish-speaking customers.

Nice to Have

- None of these are required, but any of them would help you ramp faster:

- You can read a BI dashboard and walk a customer through it, whether Power BI or something similar

- You know enough SQL to sanity-check data and follow a technical conversation

- You have seen the systems our customers run, like Microsoft Fabric, Azure, SQL Server, or produce ERPs such as Produce Pro, SAP, or Famous

- You can hold your own with a customer's IT lead or database admin without getting lost

- You grasp how a data platform turns raw records into answers

Hours and Travel

A few practical notes on what the job asks day to day:

- This is a remote role based in the U.S. (excluding CA and NY). You can work from eligible locations, provided your hours overlap with Mountain Time so we stay in sync as a team. Candidates must be authorized to work within the U.S.

- Most of your work happens over video and phone. Customers are spread across the U.S. and Latin America.

- Expect some travel, roughly once a quarter, for customer visits and industry events. It can pick up around key onboardings or busy season.

- Produce moves fast, so some flexibility helps.

How We Set You Up to Succeed

- Direct access to the CEO and the founding team, not layers of management

- A product and engineering team that partners with you on customer issues

- Established playbooks, CRM, and support tools so you are not building from scratch

- Customer success criteria defined up front, so you always know what good looks like

- Warm handoffs from sales, not cold accounts dropped on your desk

Structure and Compensation

- This role starts as a 6-month contract with a clear path to a full-time offer. At the end of the six - months, we review for conversion against performance criteria we set together at the start.

On conversion to full-time, the package includes:

- Base salary: competitive base, set within a published range based on experience

- Performance bonus: paid quarterly against customer retention, AAR, expansion, and satisfaction goals.
