As a Senior/Lead Technical Recruiter, you will own full-cycle recruiting for our engineering and AI/ML research roles, building the pipelines and relationships that bring exceptional technical talent to Lila. You will partner closely with hiring managers and the broader Talent Acquisition team to maintain a high bar across our most critical technical disciplines.
The right person is deeply curious about highly technical fields, well-networked in engineering and AI/ML talent communities, and committed to delivering a rigorous, high-touch candidate experience. You operate with strong ownership and are motivated by the craft of finding and closing exceptional people.
What You'll Be Building
- Own full-cycle recruiting for software engineering and AI/ML research roles, from intake through close
- Build and maintain a high-quality pipeline of technical talent through proactive sourcing across a range of channels, including professional networks, technical communities, and direct outreach
- Partner with hiring managers to design effective interview processes and develop role-specific sourcing and closing strategies
- Develop compelling narratives for technical audiences — communicating why Lila, why now, and why this role — and refine messaging based on market feedback
- Contribute to the development and adoption of AI-powered recruiting tools and sourcing methodologies that raise the team's overall effectiveness
- Maintain operational rigor across pipeline tracking, stage hygiene, candidate communications, and reporting
What You’ll Need to Succeed
- 3+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience, with a strong track record in highly technical or specialized environments (in-house, agency, or a mix)
- Demonstrated success recruiting for software engineers and AI/ML research profiles, including research engineers and applied scientists
- Experience sourcing talent through a range of channels beyond conventional databases, including technical communities and professional networks
- Strong candidate relationship management skills, with the ability to run a high-touch process across multiple roles simultaneously
- Familiarity with AI-powered recruiting tools or a demonstrated appetite for building and adopting new sourcing methodologies
- High ownership and operational discipline in a fast-moving environment
- Demonstrated commitment to inclusive hiring practices
- Genuine curiosity about Lila's mission of accelerating scientific discovery through AI
