Voice Recording Specialist - Japanese and Chinese

Scope of the Role: 

We are seeking a bilingual Voice Recording Specialist fluent in both Chinese and Japanese to support voice recording, language collection, transcription, and audio quality projects. This role involves recording scripted and conversational audio while maintaining accuracy, pronunciation quality, and consistency across recordings.

The ideal candidate has strong verbal communication skills, clear pronunciation in both languages, and the ability to follow detailed recording guidelines.

What You’ll Own:

• Record high-quality audio in Chinese and Japanese for voice and language projects
• Read scripts naturally and accurately with proper pronunciation and tone
• Perform basic audio reviews to ensure recording quality and clarity
• Follow recording instructions, language guidelines, and project requirements
• Support transcription, annotation, or language quality assurance tasks as needed
• Meet productivity and project deadlines
• Collaborate with project managers and language teams

You’ll Thrive in This Role If You Have:

• Fluent in Chinese and Japanese (spoken and written)
• Strong pronunciation and verbal communication skills
• Comfortable using recording software, mobile apps, or computer-based tools
• Excellent attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and manage deadlines
• Prior voice recording, translation, localization, or customer support experience is a plus

The expected hourly salary range for this position is $20 p/hour, based on experience, skills, and qualifications.
