NOTE: This role is best suited for a product designer who enjoys a highly execution-focused environment. You’ll be working on clearly defined tasks with specific requirements, so comfort with following established direction and delivering high-quality work within that scope is key.
This position is ideal for someone who prefers a structured setup, values clarity, and takes pride in consistently delivering solid work within a well-defined framework.
Commitment: 40 hours a week
Location: US, Flexible to working Central time zone
Travel: Possible travel within STL (minimal, once or twice a year for a couple of days)
We’re looking for a thoughtful, detail-oriented UX Designer to join our team and help design a seamless, intuitive experience for a robust employee productivity platform. In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with Senior Designers, Creative Directors, UX Researchers, Product Managers, and Developers to turn complex workflows into clear, usable, and elegant solutions.
You’ll contribute across the full product lifecycle—from discovery and concepting to detailed design and delivery—while learning from senior leaders and growing your craft in a highly collaborative environment.
You’ll work in a highly collaborative environment alongside Senior Designers, Creative Directors, UX Researchers, Product Managers, and Developers, contributing across the full product lifecycle—from early discovery and concepting through detailed design and delivery. This role offers strong exposure to senior design leadership and opportunities to continue developing your craft.
Responsibilities
- Design intuitive, user-centered experiences for complex, workflow-driven products
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional partners to translate requirements into thoughtful design solutions
- Contribute across all phases of the product lifecycle, including discovery, ideation, prototyping, and delivery
- Create wireframes, user flows, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs as needed
- Incorporate research insights, usability findings, and stakeholder feedback into design decisions
- Support and evolve design patterns and systems to ensure consistency and scalability
- Participate in design reviews and present work to stakeholders when appropriate
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a UX or Product Designer working on complex digital products
- Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and best practices
- Experience collaborating with product, engineering, and research teams
- Ability to translate complex workflows into simple, intuitive experiences
- High attention to detail and a strong sense of craft
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
- Strong communication skills and ability to articulate design decisions
Nice to Have
- Experience designing internal tools or employee-facing platforms
- Familiarity with established design systems
- Experience working in Agile or product-led environments
