Description
What is the job?
Regal is looking for a hands-on Senior Product Designer to help shape the future of its mobile loyalty, membership, and digital moviegoing experience.
You’ll design customer-centered product experiences across Regal’s mobile app and mobile web, with a focus on loyalty, rewards, member benefits, account experiences, retention, and purchase-related journeys. This includes helping customers understand the value of Regal’s programs, engage with rewards, manage their account, complete purchases, and return more often.
This role is a strong fit for a senior IC product designer who has designed and evolved loyalty, rewards, membership, subscription, or retention-focused experiences within consumer-facing digital products. You should be able to connect customer needs to business goals, make thoughtful product decisions, and deliver polished mobile-first design work without heavy oversight.
You’ll also work within and contribute to Regal’s Design Language System in Figma, helping ensure digital experiences feel consistent, scalable, accessible, and unmistakably Regal.
Responsibilities:
- Lead hands-on product design for mobile-first loyalty, rewards, membership, account, and retention experiences.
- Design and iterate customer journeys that help users understand member benefits, earn and redeem rewards, manage accounts, engage with offers, and complete purchase-related actions.
- Improve connected flows across loyalty, account, ticketing, concessions, checkout, ordering, and post-purchase moments.
- Translate customer problems, business goals, research, data, and retention signals into clear design decisions.
- Partner closely with product, engineering, research, marketing, and business stakeholders from concept through production.
- Deliver polished mobile UI and interaction design with strong hierarchy, usability, accessibility, and visual craft.
- Work within and contribute to Regal’s Design Language System in Figma, including components, patterns, variables, documentation, and reusable design practices.
- Use research, product data, testing, and customer behavior to refine designs and measure impact over time.
Requirements:
- 5–8+ years of hands-on product design experience, ideally in mobile-first consumer products.
- Direct experience designing loyalty, rewards, membership, paid subscription, retention, or account-based customer experiences.
- Strong portfolio showing mobile-first product design, polished UI craft, thoughtful interaction design, clear IA/hierarchy, and measurable product outcomes.
- Experience designing connected consumer journeys such as member onboarding, benefits education, account management, rewards earning/redemption, subscription management, offers, checkout, ticketing, ordering, or other purchase-related flows.
- Strong product judgment and ability to connect customer needs with business goals such as retention, repeat purchase, engagement, conversion, or member value.
- Experience working in embedded product teams with product, engineering, research, marketing, and cross-functional partners.
- Strong Figma skills and experience working within or contributing to design systems, components, variables, patterns, and documentation.
- Ability to use research, analytics, testing, and customer insight to explain design decisions and tradeoffs.
- Strong visual design instincts and ability to create polished, engaging mobile-first consumer experiences.
- Able to work normal Eastern Time business hours in a remote US-based role.
You may be a great fit if you:
- Have designed loyalty, rewards, membership, subscription, or retention-focused experiences that evolved over time.
- Can explain how customers discover value, understand benefits, engage with rewards, and return to a product.
- Are a hands-on senior IC designer who enjoys solving product problems, not just executing stakeholder requests.
- Can explain the “why” behind your design decisions, including customer needs, data, tradeoffs, and outcomes.
- Have a strong eye for visual design and can deliver clean, polished, mobile-first experiences.
- Are comfortable using and improving design systems, even if you are not a dedicated design systems specialist.
- Enjoy designing consumer experiences that create clarity, confidence, excitement, and repeat engagement.
You will be a great fit if our values resonate with you: We Create, We Perform, We Inspire.
